Who can be CEADI?

That's easy - everyone can!

Science is so important for pretty much everything we do, from how we get around to how we talk to our friends.

Level 1 is designed for people at primary school (approximately ages 5-10). This course introduces the science values at a basic level and teaches the ecological themes through a range of fun, interactive activities.

By the end of Level 1, you will have:

• Virtually toured an RSPB reserve to learn about collaboration in science
• Had a virtual day out at an aquarium to understand the importance of education in science
• Experienced the work of Science Hunters, who aims to make science accessible to everyone using Minecraft
• Participated in a discussion of the importance of diversity in science
• Learned about inclusivity in science through an interview with the Belioness initiative in Belize.

You will also have the chance to develop your scientific research skills, by:

• Learning about the building blocks of an ecosystem
• Making recycled plant pots to help bee conservation.
• Conducting ecological surveys using different survey methods
• Writing a basic scientific report
• Communicating science accessibly
• Debating key ecological issues
